To Prevent Suicide by Identifying Students with Depression
Many of the members of this organization have personal connections with the
subject of suicide or have lost a child of their own.  We united to provide many of
the tools necessary to detect depression in students in the hopes of saving even
one child.

Our hope is to start the conversation about suicide and depression in children.
Our intent is to see this award-winning film in schools throughout the nation.

The film has been introduced to school counselors and to school safety, non-violent
and healthy children programs in California and throughout the country.

The film project originated in Sonoma County, California.  By Fall 2005, copies of
the award-winning,
To Save a Child will be distributed to every elementary and
middle school by the Sonoma County Office of Education. RESIG will distribute
copies of
To Save A Child to every high school and private school in Sonoma
County.

Hundreds of copies of the booklet,
Help Me I'm Sad, Help Me I'm Mad  have also
been distributed throughout Sonoma County schools.

There are many ways for
you to get involved.
